How do I uninstall the SwiftModders WHMCS Client Theme?

1. Change your template and order form template

Before uninstalling any WHMCS theme, it is always a great idea to change your “Template” and “Order Form Template” back to something currently installed. To do so, you’ll simply need to login to your WHMCS admin portal and navigate to “Setup” > “General Settings.”

Changing your “Template” back to “Six” would be the safe option. If you are switching to another theme, you can choose it from the list here. Do not forget to change your “Order Form Template” as well under the “Ordering” tab!

2. Uninstall the SwiftModders WHMCS Client Theme via the Theme Installer

While still in the WHMCS admin portal, navigate to “Addons” > “SwiftModders WHMCS Theme Installer.” You will see the “SwiftModders WHMCS Client Theme” as one of your installed themes with an option to “Uninstall.” Simply click on the “Uninstall” button to start the process.

The uninstall process will drop any specific MySQL database tables for the SwiftModders WHMCS Client Theme automatically. Once completed, you will see a success message stating that the theme has been uninstalled successfully. If you encounter an error, please open a support ticket.

3. Remove the theme files from your server

This is not necessarily a step you have to complete, but it is recommended if you want to keep your WHMCS installation clean. The SwiftModders WHMCS Client Theme has a few files and folder you can remove at your discretion:

/**yourwhmcsinstall**/templates/swiftmodders/
/**yourwhmcsinstall**/templates/orderforms/swiftmodders_cart/
/**yourwhmcsinstall**/templates/orderforms/swiftmodders_comparison/
/**yourwhmcsinstall**/templates/orderforms/swiftmodders_slider/
/**yourwhmcsinstall**/modules/addons/swiftmodders/configs/swiftmodders.json
/**yourwhmcsinstall**/modules/addons/swiftmodders/themes/swiftmodders/

The best way to remove these files and folders is to load up your favorite FTP client or control panel file manager.

Hopefully, this is not the last time we will see you, and you will consider using SwiftModders in the future for your web development needs. Thank you for your support!
